ADHD And Biofeedback

Doctors and scientists have long since understood the usefulness of biofeedback in epilepsy, high blood pressure and migraines. Recent research has also indicated that biofeedback can be very effective for ADHD patients too.

There has been research in New England which suggests that with time biofeedback will be a standard for the care of ADD and ADHD. There are some people who have come across the term biofeedback, but are not sure of what it is and how it is useful for these conditions.

Biofeedback is a self training technique which was introduced around 1940s. The main objective is to control the body functions through the mind rather than being controlled by the body. It is an effective and feasible option even if it may not be very easy to achieve.

Sensors are connected to some parts of your body which will document the temperature of the body, pulse, heart rate, muscle tension and some more things in the start of your biofeedback session. You will get a paper from the monitor with lines as well as beeps which depicts the way your personal biological progression affects the body.

You will learn how to manage the lines and beeps which are recorded in the monitor when there is a baseline. In fact very soon you will not even require sensors on the body to be able to manage your biofeedback. It will take time to get to know the effect your body has on your ADHD or ADD. You will be able to monitor yourself with biofeedback in place of self-medicating.

There are many people who are able to control urinary problems, digestive tract difficulties, blood pressure, brain activity epilepsy and other functions of the body with biofeedback rather than taking medicines. It may be difficult to believe but with biofeedback, some people have been able to get rid of medication for migraines, epilepsy, psychological illnesses, ADHD and diabetes.

Neurofeedback, a form of biofeedback was introduced in 1970s for ADHD. ADHD is associated with low attention span and hyperactivity, which can be controlled with this. In fact a few children could augment attention span and manage impulsiveness, with a general improvement in performance and lifestyle with only 40 neurofeedback sessions.

Many parents included behavioral treatment, nutritional therapies and aromatherapy with neurofeedback which assists in minimizing or replacing stimulants like Cylert and Ritalin.

One can control the use of chemical medicines by getting to know more about natural remedies for ADD and ADHD. It has been possible for many adults and children affected with ADHD and ADD to manage the functions of their body with biofeedback and neurofeedback. It is much better for children as well as adults to use minimum medicines for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and the solution for ADD or ADHD lies with biofeedback.

Highly Recommended Natural Remedy

This report has definitely helped me and my daughters manage our ADHD.  Ritalin has worked but I didn't want to rely on prescription drugs over the long term.  It even comes with an 8 week 100% money back guarantee.  We are happy we switched, so will you or someone you love!!!  Don't procrastinate...sorry I had to write that.  LOL
